They&#8217;re late because the raw data was released later than usual due to COVID and the decennial census.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>NCHS (National Center for Health Statistics) &#8220;bridged race&#8221; estimates<\/strong> for 2020, including state- and county-level numbers with detail by single years of age, race, sex, and Hispanic origin. These datasets are located in the <a class=\"SASname\" href=\"https:\/\/mcdc.missouri.edu\/applications\/uexplore.php?\/data\/popests\/nchsbri\">nchsbri<\/a> directory of our data archive. Note that we are starting a new decade here, so the new files will contain only the vintage 2020 estimates. Next year&#8217;s updates will include 2020 and 2021, and so on for the rest of this decade.<\/li>\n<li>New 2020 data for the <strong><a href=\"\/applications\/population\/change\/\">State\/county annual population change<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"\/applications\/population\/trends\/\">Population trends with demographics<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"\/applications\/population\/by-age\/\">Population estimates by age<\/a><\/strong> applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As always, please contact the <a href=\"mailto:riceg@missouri.edu\">MCDC website manager<\/a>\u00a0with any questions or comments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a couple of late updates this time.
